Open Enrollment for the 2022 Arizona ObamaCare health insurance plans begins soon

Beginning November 1st, you’ll be able to purchase any of the Arizona ObamaCare (Affordable Care Act) health insurance plans that you desire. For the 2022 Open Enrollment season, Arizona residents will have more choices than before. United HealthCare will now be offering ObamaCare plans to Arizona residents. Other 2022 health insurance carriers offering plans in Arizona include — depending upon which Arizona county/ ZIP code you live in —  Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Ambetter, Cigna, Bright Health, and Oscar.

Other companies offering lower cost non-ObamaCare plans include Pivot and National General. Like the United HealthCare non-ObamaCare plans, you have to qualify medically in order to get one of these plans. These plans also give you access to a much larger network of doctors and hospitals than the Obamacare plans offer. These non-ObamaCare plans are also a perfect option if you have children going to college outside of Arizona. Rates for these plans for college aged people can be as low as under $100 per month.
